Scheduling Communication

About Scheduled Communications

Scheduling communication for your program allows you to schedule emails to participants that will be automatically sent to select participants on either a specific date (e.g. November 15th, 2017) or based on each group's match date (e.g. 1 month after a group was matched). 

From the Scheduled Communication page, an admin can:

 

Accessing the Scheduled Communication Feature

To access the Scheduled Communication feature, click on Scheduled Communication in the Manage column on the admin program panel.

 

 

Add a new communication

Admins can schedule a new message to be sent to participants by either a fixed date in the future or based on a time period relative to a groups match date e.g. 1 month into the relationship.

Scheduling Communication for a Specific Date in the Future

  1. Click on the blue Schedule Communication button in the upper right-hand corner.
  2. Select your intended recipients of this message.
  3. Select the option Schedule your communication for a specific date in the future.
  4. Select the date you want the message to be sent on. Note that this must be a date in the future.
  5. Draft your message.
  6. Select Schedule Communication at the bottom of the page once you're finished.

 

Scheduling Communication relative to match a group's match date

  1. Click on the blue Schedule Communication button in the upper right-hand corner.
  2. Select your intended recipients of this message.
  3. Select the option Schedule your communication to be sent based on the match date.
  4. Enter the time period (# days/weeks/months) you'd like to schedule communication.
  5. Draft your message.
  6. Select Schedule Communication at the bottom of the page once you're finished.
